How to use Diffly on your own

Discover the tool Standalone which allows you to manage your own feedback collection

Written by Julien Cohen-Roussey

With Diffly Standalone, you can manage your Win-Loss program completely independently, from organizing interviews to analyzing and publishing the results.

1. Manage your interviews independently

Set up your interview bookings

In the Interviewer settings, enter your own booking links (Calendly or other).
These links will automatically be used in the feedback request emails sent to your contacts.

Conduct the interviews

Once an interview is booked, you conduct it yourself (via video or audio), without any involvement from Diffly.

Import an interview into Diffly

After the interview:

  1. Set a booking date on the feedback to stop automatic email reminders.

  2. Upload your audio or video file directly into Diffly.

  3. Select the language of the interview (FR or EN).

  4. Add keywords and and notes to improve the quality of the transcription.

  5. Start the upload.

2. Automate interview analysis

Once your file is uploaded, Diffly handles the analysis automatically.

Generate the transcription

Diffly creates a clean, structured transcript of your interview.

Extract decision drivers and quotes

Key decision drivers are identified, along with associated quotes.

Analysis and executive summary

Diffly produces:

  • a concise analysis of the interview

  • an executive summary ready to share

You can edit or regenerate these elements if needed (transcription itself cannot be edited).

Simple navigation for the user

Thanks to the tabs, you can easily switch between the four main sections of your interview analysis: Transcript, Decision drivers, Analysis, and Executive summary.

3. Publish the results

Publish immediately or schedule for later

Once your analysis is ready, you can:

  • Publish immediately the interview and insights

  • Schedule publication for a specific date and time

4. Configure your feedback campaigns

Choose the interviewer type

When creating a campaign, select:

  • Internal interviewer: you manage the interviews independently

  • External interviewer (Diffly): Diffly handles the interviews for you

Add your booking links (FR / EN)

Your configured booking links are used in the emails sent to contacts.

  • An English link is required

  • A French link is optional if French is enabled

Choose where to receive email responses

You can decide where feedback email responses are sent:

  • to the email connected to the campaign

  • or to a specific email address

5. Manage your feedbacks and contacts

Stop active feedback requests

At any time, you can stop one or more active feedback requests.

Track interview status

Each feedback clearly displays its status:

  • Ongoing: request in progress

  • Booked: interview scheduled

  • No feedback received: no response received

6. How to send a feedback request to multiple deals at once?

You can request feedback for several deals in a single action, instead of doing it one by one.

Select the deals and request feedback

From the deals list, tick the checkboxes next to the deals you want to request feedback for, then click Request feedback.

Choose the use case and channel

A "Choose a campaign" window opens. Select the use case and the channel that apply to your selection.

Select the campaign

Pick the campaign you want to use from the list, then click Send feedback.

Review the feedback request summary

Once the request is sent, a "Feedback request summary" window may appear if some recipients were skipped. For each skipped recipient, the reason is shown — for example, "Already has a feedback request", or “The deal has no contact associated” — along with the email address and the associated deal.

When a feedback campaign combines an interview and a survey, the "Ongoing" status is visible on the deal page once the campaign has been launched. This lets you track the progress of the feedback (video upload, transcript generation, etc.) directly from the deal page, including for campaigns that combine an interview and a survey.
