This is part of our expertise to recommend the best decision drivers. Don't hesitate to ask your Program Manager for help !

Step 1: Create a new Decision Driver category

Tip: You can find decision driver templates in your Notion onboarding page to help you get started!

Before creating Decision Drivers, you first need to define their categories.

Typical decision driver's category are:

  • Sales experience

  • Company

  • Pricing & packaging

  • Product evaluation

  • Customer experience

  • Internal factors

  1. Go to Settings
In Diffly, navigate to the Settings section by clicking on your profile icon at the top right of your screen.

  2. Access the Decision Drivers tab
In the left-hand menu, click on Decision Drivers.

  3. Click on “Add Category”
You will see the option to add a new Decision Driver category. Click Add Category, then enter the name of the category you want to create.

  4. Save your category
Once you've entered the category name, click Save. Your new category will now appear in the list, ready for you to add specific Decision Drivers to it.

🎉 Congratulations! You’ve successfully created a new Decision Driver category!

For simplicity in data analysis, you can only create a maximum of 6 categories

Step 2: Create a new Decision Driver

Now that you've set up your categories, it's time to start adding specific Decision Drivers to them.

  1. Select a category
Click on the category where you'd like to add a Decision Driver.

  2. Add a new Decision Driver
In the category section, you'll see an option to Add Decision Driver. Enter the name of the specific Decision Driver you want to add, then click Add.

  3. Choose your use cases for the new Decision Driver

Once your new Decision Driver has been added to the category, you can choose for which use cases you want this Decision Driver to be used. By clicking on the blue pencil icon, you will be able to select the following use cases : New business, Churn & Renewal or Satisfaction.

You can repeat this process to add as many Decision Drivers as needed for each category.

You can edit a decision driver or a decision driver's category.

You can delete a decision driver or a decision driver's category.

Step 3 (if two languages at least) : Translate your decision drivers

If you activate a translation language other than English in General settings, you just have to translate all of your initial decision drivers to the right language
